Testing is one of the most sensitive and difficult components of education. It becomes even more challenging when one is developing tests for competitive test preparation for the Civil Services Examination.
The Value System for Testing :
The Right Quantum : Ensuring the right number of tests are given to students which actually aids in their preparation and not burdens them.
The Right Kind : Ensuring the questions that are asked are likely to be asked in the actual exam and are asked in a way that the actual exam usually frames them.
The Right Solution : Ensuring Tests also serve as question banks and reference points that eventually become learning aids.
It is my absolute resolve to ensure all the three commandments are most strictly adhered to ensure a better learning experience for the student community.
With this value system embedded, I am extremely happy to announce the Testing Component to my work. Every single test and its solution would be absolutely free of cost to anyone and everyone willing to use it for their preparation. This is my word to you and this shall never change.
There are three pillars to testing :
I. T20 : Most of you are already aware of this. This is an all year round daily testing program which comprises of 20 well-crafted questions from current and static portions with detailed solutions that can also be attempted live on the Unacademy App for free and the detailed analysis PDFs are posted on the Telegram Channel : Atish Mathur Official. II. The Full Length Tests for Prelims 2021 : 5 full length tests on the 15th and 30th of every month starting March 2021 till May 2021 along with separate and detailed solutions as well OMR Sheets. These tests would be released at 9 a.m. on these dates on the website as well as the Telegram Channel : Atish Mathur Official
III. Sectional Tests for Mains : A total of 5 questions (4 from GS Papers and 1 Essay) will also be released on the 15th and 30th of every month starting March 2021 till May 2021. These tests would be uploaded at 9 p.m. on these dates. Detailed answer structures, approaches, and discussion classes would be also scheduled for the same. Answer sheets shall also be uploaded.
III. The Full length Tests for Mains 2021 : 2 full length tests of each GS Paper and Essay Paper shall be conducted post the Prelims 2021 till Mains 2021 wherein detailed answer structures, approaches, and discussion classes would be also scheduled for the same. Answer sheets shall also be uploaded.
Please note : Self evaluation templates and broad marking schemes shall also be shared so that you can assess your Mains answers properly.
